Regulatory Update webinar Forum
Monday 12th October 2020 at 4pm
The objective of the iNED programme is to assist non-executive directors in the insurance industry in London (iNEDs) to respond to the challenges they face and to assist them in managing the onerous responsibilities they bear under the Bank of England’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime. We do this by keeping iNEDs up to date with board issues, wider corporate governance matters and relevant regulations.
One of our regular and most popular events is the annual “Regulatory Update” Forum with both the PRA and FCA which, this year, will take the form of a webinar with the aim of keeping the community informed of the latest regulatory thinking in order to enable a better understanding the regulator’s expectations of iNEDs as they carry out their board duties.
This year the PRA will be represented by Lisa Leaman, the Head of the London Market department while the FCA will be represented by Charlotte Cross who joined the FCA in 2019 in her current role as Head of Department for Wholesale General Insurance. Charlotte has an underwriting background at Lloyd’s.
Our speakers have been asked to provide a general update on the regulatory agenda and current “hot topics” to include business plans and priorities looking out to the end of 2021 and issues such as Brexit, the recent Covid-19 test case on BI, corporate culture, resilience etc.
