iNED Forum – Monday 11^th October 2021 from 4pm to 5.30pm. “InsurTech – the future of the Insurance market?” An insight into the trends and developments of this exciting market

We are pleased to announce that we have two excellent speakers for this session, Sam Evans, founding partner of Eos Ventures and Alex Langridge, FinTech and InsurTech Practice Leader, Per Ardua Associates. We are hoping to have a third, a current NED in the InsurTech space. Our subject is 'InsurTech, the future of the insurance market?' We will be discussing trends and developments in InsurTech. Topics will include the adoption of data and analytics, Insurtech funding trends and incumbent engagement with InsurTechs. We will conclude with some remarks on the implications for talent and board input'.

We have three excellent speakers for this session:

Sam Evans. Sam is a founding partner of Eos Venture Partners, a Strategic InsurTech Venture Capital fund with offices in London and Philadelphia. Eos is a Series A and Series B investor in new business models and new technologies that will impact and transform the insurance industry. Sam has spent the last 4 years investing in InsurTech. He is an active speaker and a Top 10 InsurTech Influencer. Prior to establishing Eos, Sam was a partner at KPMG where he led the Global Deal Advisory business for Insurance. During his career Sam has worked on over $75bn of insurance related transactions and has worked in many of the large, mature and high growth insurance markets around the globe having lived in Australia, Hong Kong, Switzerland and in the UK.

Alex Langridge. Alex focuses on senior Functional Technology roles in all sectors of Financial Services and leadership positions in FinTech and InsurTech organisations. He has completed leadership and ‘C’-suite roles in banks, venture- and private equity-backed growth businesses, hedge funds, software businesses, exchanges and FinTechs. He has carried out many international searches for UK, European and global companies. He has completed searches in all major functional areas. Prior to joining Per Ardua, Alex was the talent adviser to the CEO and Co-Founders of WorldRemit, where he built out the senior management cadre. Previously he worked at two leading search firms, where he pioneered their FinTech practices.

Andy Yeoman is the founding CEO of Concirrus and since then has led the company's strategy to solve a problem in the insurance industry - how to harness the power of big data and artificial intelligence to improve loss ratios. Andy has driven the vision and product roadmap of the company, built a solid customer base and reputation for the business. In 2019 Andy was voted the second most influential person Worldwide in Marine Insurance. Prior to Concirrus, Andy had extensive experience in telematics, big data, and insurance in start-ups, turnarounds, and M&A. He's passionate about discovering new business models that technology can unlock for the insurance market and their customers.
